Fairness and transparency are also important to us when it comes to payment. We take part in the salary comparison from Landolt & Mächler. This enables us to make direct comparisons with around 300 Swissmem companies and gives us a broad basis for remuneration in line with the market standards. More information can be found here.
The WEKA culture
We describe ourselves as Swiss, friendly and relaxed. But it’s best to find out for yourself. You will get a first impression from our image film and our employee testimonials.
WEKA lives flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes and uncomplicated interaction. We stand for respect, appreciation and fairness. Reflecting our culture as authentically as possible to the outside world is already important to us when looking for new employees. For this reason, we have deliberately chosen to use the "you" form on our homepage, in job advertisements and in the recruitment process.
And of course, we’re happy when you address in an informal manner, too.
If we do not have a suitable position advertised at the moment, we would be pleased to receive your unsolicited application, which we will consider at the next opportunity.
We need your CV, your references and certificates. We would also like a letter of motivation that gives us a first insight into your motives.
Our application process
If you send us the application documents by email, you make it easier for us to communicate with you. Of course, we are also happy to receive applications that we receive by regular post.
We will confirm receipt of your application documents within two working days by e-mail.
If you have not received a confirmation of receipt from us after three days (and the confirmation email is not in your spam folder either), please call us on +41 43 833 43 44.
If we were not able to inspire you with our job offer or you have found a great alternative, we regret this and are grateful for timely notification. In this case, your electronic application documents will be destroyed and physically mailed application dossiers will be returned. Either way, we wish you continued success!
We have put together a transparent overview of our recruiting process for you here.
You get to know your team leader and a colleague from HR. The aim of the meeting is to get first impressions and to clear up open questions. We reserve about an hour for the first interview.
In the second interview you will get to know your future team and you will find out more details about WEKA, the products and the area of responsibility.
We invest three to four hours of time and give you an authentic insight into the WEKA culture and your future area of responsibility, so that you and we can make a good decision afterwards.
On our website you will find important key data about WEKA, our culture, our history, our products and our markets.
We are interested in your strengths, your motivation and your experience and skills and look forward to an authentic, relaxed and uncomplicated exchange. Of course, we will also answer all of your questions during the interview.
Open and honest communication is important to us. At the end of the interview, we will inform you about the next steps and the further schedule.
